Why the best real estate tech is simple not complex

We often hear of the latest launch of real estate technology that seemingly has all the bells and whistles in the entire world!

Unfortunately, sometimes all those bells and whistles mean that the tech is so cumbersome, complex, and slow that it increases the admin burden on sales agents rather than reducing it.

When we first started developing our Supported By Image tech stack many years ago, we did so with the aim of creating a platform that was simple to use as well as fully portable so agents could run their businesses from literally anywhere in the world.

Fast forward a number of years, and our bespoke technology has become one of the reasons why our growing agent team is singing our praises near and far.

I have written about how fabulous our tech stack is a few times now, but rather than do that again, I thought this time we should hear all about it from one of the team – Nicholas Carroll – who is one of our sales agents team members in Brisbane.

“I genuinely did not think it would be this good. For forms, you just click on this link, go click, click, and then it’s in your inbox within 10 minutes. I was like, ‘oh, that’s so simple’,” Nicholas says.

“I haven’t printed a form in six months. Every time that I’m at an open home, I’ve got all the forms ready to go, and I get the name, phone number, and email address of each attendee.

“The tech sends a text message direct to their phone with the link to the property that I’m selling with all the necessary information. They don’t have to chase me for contracts; they don’t have to chase me for a building and pest inspection report, and they don’t have to chase me for a pool safety certificate because it’s all available by clicking the link to the form for or the information that they need.”

Nicholas says a number of buyers have commented on how easy and simple the process is as well as having access to all the necessary information at the mere click of a button. Plus, he truly believes our technology and support have modernised his business in a big way.

“Having the online process where all the forms are available within one spot is one of my favourite things about the technology,” he says.

“One of my other favourite elements is having the ability to be able to have access to all the different office locations as well as being able to work from anywhere that you want.”

In years gone by, most agents were almost chained to their desks six days a week before the onerous administration requirements in real estate transactions.

These days, though, when you have cutting-edge technology literally in the palm of your hands, that is no longer the case, with our agents being able to successfully grow their businesses and achieve career and personal goals from literally anywhere in the world.

It’s like having a PA in your pocket!
